SiSoft Sandra gives you loads of info about your system. You'll need a motherboard monitor for the cpu temperatures though, and that really depends on your mobo chipset and manufacturer. There is a popular one that i can't remember the name of that apparently works for most; i think it might actually be called 'motherboard monitor' but not sure. I'm sure someone will tell you.

I know another free one called Belarc Advisor. It gives you lots of information about your computer hardware/software.
i use Aida32/Cpu-z sometimes
Sparkle has good suggestion. Use Belarc Advisor.
