Upgrading My System Amd Or Intel?

everyone here is standing on the main point that the amd chips are cheaper, and oc's better. intels are more expensive, a bit harder to oc, but comes out of the box at hte speed u want. i odn't have a preference, i'm just staring at those hyperx ram. heard they were amazing. mostlly cuz my friend bought some, and turned out to be super ocing ram taht work great. i'd say go with the amd, mostly becuz i know we're all poor, except for maybe clocker. lol. but if u got some extra cash, go with the intel

lol. u can do that too, but really, if u got some extra cash to burn, or give ur dog as a chew toy, might as well go with the intel. u not only get a powerful chip, but also tight ass ram too

I Love Abit&#39;s boards and then asus im not really into OC cuz i want my warrenties but if i go with amd i will oc a bit but if i go intel then 2.4 is fine esp. with 800mhz FSB and that would mean no dual channel ram soo its a really hard choice

i&#39;d go with the amd so i could OC it, also i&#39;d get this hd at circuit city (not sure if you want it, got the money,the deals still going on, or if youre in the us) it is &#036;160 for a 120 gb hd w/ 8mb cache and there is 120 in rebates

no dude, it&#39;s 139.99 with 120 rebate. wtf. i wouldn&#39;t go crazy if it was &#036;40. it &#036;20
