Thread: K_lite 2.6

1. #41
Hey does that mean that we can install 2 versions of kazaa on the one computer? I wanted to try a couple simulatenously, but they laways recommend uninstalling old versions. So has anyone done this!? I need to compare speeds and stability before I make up my mind! Thanks!

Kazaa is dead peoples..
Wake up and smell the coffee..
Watching all these developers running around flogging a dead horse is amusing to say the very least

In theory you can, however both Installs will use the same regestry keys and with so diffrent versions it may be an obsticle that can't be overcome.

@Java Boy Not realy, 2.6 is steady on her course, and 2.0.2 based have many versions but it's not such a big problem IMO.

I installed 2.44 k-lite after 1.5 month period of not using k-lite
And still I have 3.5 millions users & not bad speeds
So k-lite lives. The developers are doing great job.
I used bittorrent & cant tell its way better. There's place for everything under the sun.

Tried K_Lite 2.6 and it sucks!
Cumbersome, incredibly slow search with hardly any results!
Ive reverted back to good old 2.4.3.
Am I doin anything wrong or is this a universal diagnosis?
Kazaa

Keep using good old K-Lite 2.4.3

Why dont we make Kazza able to use more than one network like win-mx.

Cos kazza lite is the best program, but with a prettie crap network

Due to many reasons, mainly it'd require alot of work in cracking Kazaa.exe and somehow editing it, it's alot of trouble and difficult so noone is going to do it. Nice idea but beyond capabilities :

I agree 2.6 sucks ass, It has only bugs nothing ever works the look is bad
its got popups all over it and it causes buffer overruns all the time.
my advise: get K++ 2.44 (not 2.43) and stop the 2.6 project (it just aint hapening)

2.6 will eventually be your only option due to the fact that in accordance with Shermans' statment non 2.6 will not connect to 2.6 based SuperNodes.
Allready happend 2.43 doesnt work anymore
read this topic by yours trully [/b][/quote]
Who told you that?

I been using 2.43 and it works fine for me.
