Which is the superior: ATI Radeon 9600 Pro or nVidia GeForce FX 5700 (not Ultra).
Furthermore, what dissimilarities are apparent between "Data Width" and "Memory Interface" - as both are often advertised as being either 128/256-Bit.

for inage quality, pick up the pro
for online gaming pick up the 5700
or just wait for a few weeks and pick up the 6800 (non ultra)

I would get the 9600Pro for sure.
Atividia, why do you say the 5700 is better for online gaming?

cause in online gaming you dont need such good quality graphics, cause u want the game to go really fast so u arent killed...and with the low settings the 5700 beats teh 9600 doesnt it?Originally posted by bigdawgfoxx@1 May 2004 - 11:40

lol screw ur guide!
oh well just wait til later and get a 6800
No thanks - I lack interest in the 6800, principally due to its outrageous price tag.
Nevertheless, research at http://www20.tomshardware.com/graphi...416/index.html, witnesses the fact that the 9600 Pro is often defeated by its counterpart, the 9500 Pro or even 5600 Ultra.
