    i just noticed something: the X800 pro will have 12 pipes?

    and the 6800ultra costs the same amount... and has 16 pipes...









    ATI is really going to get fu<ked in the @&#036;&#036; with this one. im waiting til the XT to make my decision... damnit ATI almost saved themselves too...

    Yes, that is what they are marketed as. And at this time, no prices are fixed, except for preorder.

    ...Also keep in mind that the 12 pipeline cards could be a softmodder&#39;s dream. In other words, the other 4 pipelines might be able to be turned out with either software or BIOS update.

    ...We will have to see this unravel, no?

    The 6800 U will most definetly run on either 4x or 8x AGP.

    i dont want to do a f__king softmod when i can pay the same amount and get the whole nine yards with the nvidia card and not risk damaging it&#33;
