    I have no plans to. It's taken me long enough to get Mom learning decently. No way we're starting over.

    Thats exactly what I was going to say. An independent 7600 with a slightly slower core 2 duo would be a way better move.

    Why? It's for my Mom, who will never play a single game on it.

    I intentionally skimped on the graphics "card" b/c she doesn't need it. I got the nice processor b/c it will last her a while.
