geohotz code does not allow you to play pirated games. what it allows it for you to run signed code. people need to get the story right if they are to report on it.

Another example of someone forcing a monopoly on their product.
Sony obviously want exclusive control over their product, even though the real world is totally different. Nothing that has ever been conceived has ever benefited from a monopoly.
Relentless persecution of the little people by the big corporations appears to be the norm.

I will eventually get around to modding my PS3 (OMG, is Sony going to track down my IP address? Don't give it to 'em, OK, FST???) because... (and this is important)...
IT NO LONGER DOES WHAT I PAID SONY FOR IT TO DO.
After that, I have NO interest in another Sony product. EVER.
