Ok I am selling my computer and buying a laptop but I am wondering if i can use my D-Link wireless adapter in a laptop. Works great in my PC but dont know if it will hook up to a laptop.

don't use a usb adapter for a laptop, idiots.
use a card one. why do you want a wire comming out of your laptop connecting to a device that most likley needs ac power?

Who is suggesting to use a usb. I answered his original question and suggested to google what he should have done before.
