Mine is tile roof since you ask, as is I think 99% over here, church would be tile and led until the led is stolen (was a bit of a crime factor a while back, not sure if it is still happening)
Insurance?? You mean house insurance policy?? Here they don't give a shit what roof you have, here if you have a fire hydrate closer to your property you get a break, but windows, doors, roofs, they don't give a shit, but if you want to evaluate your house for more, you can, just pay higher premium, Land and where your house is located is a bigger factor here....
Clay/Tile, to me would be the same, here they are pricey as well and do last a long time, it must be pretty old buddy, if you need to replace it??
Surprised they have lead ones, i know lead doesn't rust and easy to bend/mold, but it is a pretty heavy, and not the greatest for the environment
