My question was:
if u use the cedpstealer option, u can either save it or use it as ur pic. If u choose to use it as ur pic u dont get an option to save it, so where does it go?

Arg, I know that And agian I say, why not just take that little extra time to SAVE it, then set it as your pic, because I don't think it gets saved to your harddrive, it just sets it as your pic.

it's changed to a differnt filename, which is in numbers, and .gif format, and in a folder deep dark in msn stuff somewhere on ur hard drive...either that or all files might be stored in one file.
display pics are stored in C:\Documents & settings\username\application data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\
then there are some dirs with numbers...and inside those there are 'User Tile' directories.
the DP's are stored as .dat files.
try renaming one to .jpg or .png and you can view it.
