As an action movie, this was pretty good. As long as you don't go looking for some deep meaning in it. There were some beautifully shot scenes.

Finally saw it, with much prejudice beforehand
yet was presently surprised from the very start, with the humorous ball thing and the language intrigued me more.It was thankgod not so pushy on the moral issue, which was left to the very end.
Mel Gibson really goes for those Epic type movies, yet sort of flips them into more intimate action movies, for easy reading. He really loves gore, my girlfriend couldn't handle it.

I have to agree on the gore thing!!

I've JUST seen this movie, I absolutely recommend it. It might not be THAT great but it's definitely worth watching, you will not be bored for 1 second at all
