Thread: NzbMovieSeeker

    Question Mark

NzbMovieSeeker has vanished with only a "suspended account" reply when one tries to access the site. Anyone know if this is a temporary problem or a true demise?

It happens once a year usually when the owner doesn't pay the renewal fees. Don't worry it will come back up after two or three weeks.

Took over a month the last down time. THe owner should ask the admins at Oink and ScT about genius ways to pay for 'fees'

It happens every month, and why anyone would use that site is beyond me, every other release is fake/passworded/or mis labled....do yourself a favor and use FST or NZBS.org

If I remember correctly SoL, the site basically used search engines like BinSearch to search for the file names.

    /fail site

I found the site easy to check up on new releases but sorting the 10+ results was a pain, needed a comment/rating system to help with that.

I find it weird that people are saying this happens every month, I have been using it for quite a while now and it's the first time I've seen it. Added to that it's about 6-7 weeks it's been now so far.

The annual invoice would make more sense, but nzbtvseeker.com is still working, and I assume it's the same host...

The site owner made a change to the site that I asked about a while back, I have emailed them recently to see if I can get any news about what's happening.

    Maybe fail to you...

I like(d) the way I can find a movie, and view all the releases under that, and view only HD, "xvid" or DVD releases.

I does(did?) have a few issues here and there, but it's kind of what you expect for an automated site.

The issue is when you find the release, it just points you to another (search) nzb site, usually this is fine but sometimes it has multiple results. Good way to host the .nzb off of the server though I guess.

Show me another site that does this... I would seriously be interested. (automated is fine, free is imperative).

Sorry, in my comment above I think I misunderstood what you meant. Yes it points you to an nzb on bintube (default), it is a pain when there are multiple files (or even multiple realeases). But to me this is better than searching myself, and/or using a site that doesn't really list all the releases under one movie.

I guess this is an advantage, not to host the .nzb file on your own host.

It wasnt to hard to look at one with multiple posts.. just look at the size usually an xvid will be like 800mb-1.5gb that type of thing is how i found it to be quite useful besides those minor things
