Your one of the lucky ones ? Pre sp2 or "cough" a legit copy ? Well some of us are not so lucky but imput is appreciated , because I for one was stumped on the invalid key responce. Saying this key was not issued by Microsoft . If you have a better trick or crack please share .

My PM 'S are MT at the moment !

Or your one of the few that has windows auto update enabled ? I'm curiuos by nature as have installed on a few computers .

I now have two entries in my start, all programs tool bar . Windows updates and Microsoft updates ! Silly O/S or what ?

Both entries open the same windows application. I deleted my shortcut in the start menu>all programs area for "Microsoft Update" and kept the one for Windows. I replaced the outdated icon for Windows Update with the new MS one though.

However, so far my updating and using Windows Validation with the updating service through my current PID and key, Izzy reports all systems, "go fly".

i have auto update enabled. my xp is using a XP Corp with SP2 slipstreamed. i dled it a long time ago, around when sp2 came out.

update works just fine for me
