Haha.
I.
1. Cut out around person you want to paste on backdrop with the lasso tool, ctrl+C them into your clipboard.
II.
1. Open up backdrop
2. Paste the person onto the backdrop, and adjust position.

Saves you a lot of time and trouble.
The edge around the person will be cleaner too that way.
Or you could just feather the selection, but yeap whatever you want. Rock out.
EDIT: Feliz, that is some pretty dirty water you are in.
im new to photoshop sorry but where is the backdrop??
im using photopshop cs :blushing:
Yeah,I should stop eating my diner in it every night, while my mom washes me hair. :blushing:Quote:

To drag the person on the background of your choice, use the tool that I marked with a red cirkel:
-Click and hold the picture and drag it on to the background picture.

After you did this, you can use the same tool to resize, and adjust the position of the person you placed on the background.
I'm learning this too.
Where do layers come into this ?
Would you paste the image of the person on to a new layer ? and would you keep the background as a background layer so that you can edit it later ?

You don't paste but drag and drop the person on the background layer.
The picture of the person is a layer on it's own.
So now you have two layers.
The background layer is partially locked though.
