A clone England football team - How would they do in the Premiership?
Now that we can easily clone human beings (as evidenced in 2005 Ewan McGregor film The Island), if we were to clone the England football team and put them in the Premiership how do you think they would fare?
Would they become one of the "big four" (thus turning it into some kind of "big five")? Would they struggle for a mid-table position like Newcastle United? Or would they bounce between the Premiership and Championship like Sunderland? Or would they, most likely, mutate into hideous monsters and reek a bloody rampage across the country?
Re: A clone England football team - How would they do in the Premiership?
They'd be about as good as Bolton, I reckon - plus it might be better now, with the new technology.
Attempts in the 80s led to a horrendous mutation which wreaked a bloody rampage alongside the banks of the Tyne.

isnt mr beardsly the reason why human cloning was banned.

I might edit them into FM2007 laters.

The Football Manager editor is horrible for cloning experiments
Once upon a time I wanted to see what would be better, a team of eleven Steven Gerrards, or a team of eleven Ronaldinhos.
Anyways, a cloned England team would do quite well, because most of the teams would be freaked out by having to play against their doppelgängers.

A combination of the editor and the Football Manager Modifier cheat thingy should get the job done, might take a little time though. Beats working at work or working on my dissertation or helping moving house.

They would win it, at a canter.
Assuming they trained together and were like a real team who played every week and got to know each other and stuff.

Oh right.
Mid-table mediocrity.
