    Is the business.

Basically a cut down version of linux with no other purpose than to run Kodi.

I have installed it on an old PC just to use for streaming and it works fantastically well.

Loads in a few seconds straight into Kodi and as it is so cut down everything just works faster and better.

You can download it, put it onto a thumbdrive, install it on an old computer or laptop in just a few minutes and then go about setting Kodi up to your desired configuration.

There's even a file manager type thing on Kodi so in addition to streaming you can also put files onto it and use it as an all round media centre.

    Quality to the macs.

Thanks, JP. Will keep this in mind for future exploration.

I use it on 3 TV`s around the house (pi2x2 and a pi3). Great for streaming from my main PC (via NFS shares). Also 'Stream all the sources' video addon is fantastic. I assume we`ve all added fusion.tvaddons.ag. If not you`ll want to

Do you get any buffering issues with your Pi2? When streaming from interwebz? Mine chugs despite setting up zero caching

The first thing I install on any Kodi thing is

    https://www.tvaddons.ag/addon-installer-kodi/

It makes it really easy to install things like Phoenix, which is a must have for videos including streaming fillums.

The FilmOn addon, also available using that is good for loads of stuffs.

UKTurks and MoneySports are also must have's.

Yeah, I've got 2 Pi's (version 2) running OpenElec/Kodi with TV Add-ons, and the new Exodus channel that replaces Genesis is awesome.

Thanks for the heads up, installed to give it a try.

I thought SALTS was the replacement for Genesis.

Late reply but no I get no buffer issues but then I do have a nice solid 8Mb download speed (well nice for UK), also I only use it for mainstream programs that I can`t be bothered to source and download again so they tend to have many source choices which probably explains why I don`t have issues.
