You're so right, as usual. You are very perceptive, aren't you.
That should have been punctuated with a question mark ,so yes.

I've also noticed that you have no sense of humour which Goddamn my overly developed sense of perception,I wish I could ignore.

    What?

I'm desperately sorry I missed this thread now, it was a bit of a 'fire and forget' because I assumed the OP couldn't read. You all handled it so eloquently though, I'm impressed.

Some of the highlights for me:

The "New York" Times. Very authoritative source on proper English that is, yes.

American spelling is an unnecessary bastardisation of English brought about by lazy, uneducated, ignorant writing; what exists to respect in that?

The word is mathematics, not mathematic. Therefore the abbreviated version should be maths, not math. He was basically calling Americans in general, and you yourself in particular, stupid, innit.

I'm all about spoiling peoples' fun these days.
And you were all so patient with him...

He fucking knows it exists in the language, twat.
    More from the Golden Chalice.

Besides, the fact that more people speak English, excepting Chinese, is testament of how popular our language is. After all, not many Yanks speak French, German, Spanish or Dutch as a primary language (well, maybe Spanish and a little French).
That pretty much says it all.

Ignorance, awareness, defensiveness and defeat. Poetic.

    I got that too.
If OlgeL would put in half the effort on his schoolwork as he does trying to extract himself from the trouble caused by not studying then he'd probably be the smartest spastic on the planet.

No matter how hard you study, you just can't turn a ho into a housewife.
