I have always found Kazaa to be spyware filled and everytime I would boot it up my computer would go dead slow. I'm suprized there is people still using Kazaa.

Jeez, still a debate. I use to side with Kazaa for rarities, but now I stick to bittorrent with LimeWire for rare finds.

This debate is always stared by noobs who think that everyone is still using Kazaa. When in fact, said noobs has just dropped it a week ago when a friend of their's finally slapped them in the face for using it and directed them to bittorrent. Now they come here to boast their elite-ness to the tribe, when in fact they show up red-faced in embarrasment b/c they find out the rest of the world has already made the switch years ago.

... use Kazaa when all those awesome bittorrent sites exist? I use Kazaa on rare occasions to download the odd tune but other than that it's dead in the water

We do it on purpose...to give you a reason to start this thread....and for rare occasions for the odd tune ..

You need something like Kazaa or Limewire for the "odd tune" Bittorrent and Newsgroups are shite for that. I use Frostwire for any tunes I want to grab. Or, if I have a few spare weeks to wait for stuff, emule.
