A wee set of kit from B&Q, I think they are having a shed load of cash flow problems just now and are punting stock for nowt.
The kit was
Angle Grinder, plus two disks.
Jigsaw plus 8 blades
Impact Drill plus 9 bits.
Various other accesories.
All in a custom box which has places for everything amd everything in it's place. Including 2 drawers for the bits, blades, discs etc.
Now it's not a big brand name, it's a B&Q own make methinks. However it cost under £17, yes £17. feckin amazing if you ask me. Stick your Black Friday up yer arse.
(for our American chums, £17 = ~US$849)

Oh I won't use them. I'm a guy, I just need to own an angle grinder I don't want to actually use one, feck I can't even work out how to put the grinding wheel on it.
If I need anything done I'll get a man in.

I don't know if that's a good buy or not. I've never researched prices for organ grinders and limb detachers.
Do you have your life insurance paid up?

Angle grinder and a jigsaw for £17, seems unlikely.
If you weren't Scotch, I'd call rod. I know you Jockish lads never joke about the folding green stuff

Feck, a drill as well
I bought one of those type kit things a couple of years ago...all looked nice and posh....and very cheap.
The drill burnt out putting a few screws in some wood never mind masonry and the electric scredriver wouldn't even manage to put a screw in some chipboard before going pop. The sander is ok and the jigsaw is too but the two main bits were fucked after first use.
No, I didn't get round to taking it all back and complaining......so its now sitting in my shed, looks new but is a bag of shit.

Gee Clocker, Get with the program. If a woman were to mess up, it is obviously through the fault of a man.
I don't recall blaming a man at all....just that the tools were not up to the job....
I will have you know that I am a dab hand at flatpack furniture building using nowt but a couple of screwdrivers and a bit o'glue. :snooty:
I have a wardrobe, bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and 2 under bed storage units to build this weekend.....but I have borrowed a good quality power scewdriver to take the physical strain out of it...(according to the instructions I should be able to get the lot done in about 4 hours...yeah right)

Your exchange rate looks a bit out.
17 British pounds = 30.09 U.S. dollars
Thanks to Google
Looks like a good buy though if it's £17 quid, especially if it's decent stock being cleared due to B&Q's problems.
