wow, where do i start? it seems all the bands i loved as a kid are coming back, but commercialised to buggery, or just plain crap. i.e;

the offspring - americano
smashing pumpkins - adore
limp bizkit - significant other
weezer - maladroit
rhcp - californication.

the list can go on and on, its sad when a band sells out. :(

the one that disapointed me the most was "daisy chainsaw - eleventeen", i was told it had been delisted, so i trailed old record shops, car boots, you name it - i did it. then i discovered it on ebay, the shipping was delayed for ages for some stupid reason, and when i finally played it, i hated it. oh well. i played it a few more times and its beginning to grow on me at last. <_<

To be honest, I expected a lot more from 'OK Computer' from Radiohead. It wasn't a bad album at all, but it wasn't that great as I imagined it would have been.

I'll agree with everyone saying radiohead is over-rated...
Both Limp Bizkit Albums after 3 Dollar Bill Ya'll were a dissapointment
and Avril Lavigne - Let Go...I mean for how much it has sold, you would expect a quarter decent CD and be able to play live aswell... :P

I was disappointed by Feeder - Comfort In Sound, I loved Echo Park but they should of taken more time out after Jon died, imo.

Linkin Park "Reanimation"

Where did all the cool guitars go???? That's what makes Linkin Park a cool band you know?
They just screwed that one up BIG TIME!

The albums I've been most disappointed with are:

De La Soul - 3 Feet High And Rising.

Pretty lame beats and rhymes, plus the vinyl was pressed exceedingly badly - it's so muffled you can't listen to it!!

The Stone Roses - The Second Coming

Not a patch on the first one!!

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP

Just plain crap!!! The beats are way under par, what's with all the heavy metal guitars???

Radiohead arnt overated, just people expect to much from them, some sort of deep meaning to everything. My worst ablum has to be Rattle and Hum by U2, An awsome band but its hard to belive that its them, their only poor work.

If we're speaking of any CD then my pick would have to be an electroclash compilation called "This Is Not The 80's". Damn that comp sucked.

If it has to be a CD by a band then it would be The Postal Service.
Huge disappointment.
