Anyway, I have a question of my own. It&#39;s not about a movie, but about a tv-show. I saw this a couple of years ago here on tv. It was about a guy. I think he was a doctor or something. After coming home he finds his wife murdered and the police is coming after him for the murder of his wife. On his run from the police he tries to find the real murderer, which turn out to be his twin brother of whom he never knew anyhting about. They were separated at birth and he was adopted by a good family and had the best education, but his brother wasn&#39;t that lucky and had spent time in several institutions and jail and now he wants to get revenge by framing his good brother. This way he will also endure what the bad brothers had to endure. On his quest for the truth the bad brother kills a lot of other people and everyone seems to think the good brother has done it, because no one knows anything about the fact that they are identical twins.

Does anyone know what show I&#39;m talking about,because I would really like to see it again one time and I want to know how it ended (if it ended, anyway). Perhaps they stopped the series without a decent ending, just like John Doe.

I need to know what a films name is. You will get it easy probs but ive wanted it 4 ages and cant remember its name. Its about these kids that push a stall of some stairs and someone is at the bottom of the stairs and they kill her/him and get locked up 4 murder. In jail they get treat like shit and when realised one of the prisioners see one of the guards and kills him.

Sorry to interupt but I have another one that&#39;s been on my mind lately, it was an American TV show, came out back in the 70&#39;s I&#39;m pretty sure, it was just a everyday cop drama, but here&#39;s the kicker, and it&#39;s also the reason no one believes me, Bruce Lee, the man himself was in the pilot and he made a few more cameo appearances in a few other episodes as well. I don&#39;t remember exactly what his role was but I think it had something to do with him teaching the cop Jeet Kune Do, cause the cop got his ass kicked or something, it was a great show I thought but it got cancelled pretty quick, shoulda made Bruce a regular perhaps <_< . No one believes me on this, everyone says he was only in movies and the only time he was on TV was in the Green Hornet, but I know it was him. Any ideas? :(

Well you can tell your friends "I told you so", because he indeed worked on a TV show from 1971 called &#39;Longstreet&#39; IMDb link (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0066681/).

He&#39;s credited as the fight arranger, but also had a small role plus a few cameo&#39;s.
The series wasn&#39;t a great success though, so that&#39;s why not many know about it. :ninja:

From what I can remember it&#39;s a movie about the war in Kosovo or Sarajevo...not too sure about that.The story is about two soldiers from opposing camps.
The only scene I can remember is one with the legs of a manequin-doll falling out of the sky attached to a parachute.
The director is a naturalised Belgian,originally from Kosovo(I think).
And it won a price 2-3 years ago in Cannes.
That&#39;s all I know about it but I&#39;m really desperatly looking for it.

I only remember one scene. A car is chased by the police. The driver pulls into a parking lot/car dealership filled with cars identical to the one he&#39;s driving. He parks in an empty spot , ducks , and thus evades the cops.

Can&#39;t remember anything else - just saw the scene in a store once.

There is a scene, I think it is in the middle of the movie, with a black dude talking to the main character about god. They are in a prison cell and the black dude is smoking a cigarette telling him that jesus is all around us or something. I think it is fairly recent movie, and i think it is main stream. I just cant remember anything about it.

Here is another one, it is an 80&#39;s movie I think, and the only scene I can remember is the main character is in a military style dorm with a bunch of other kids. Th military, or big brother type figure is feeding the kids some kind of drug in theor food and brainwashing them over loud speaker while they sleep. I think there was a scene with German shepards, but I am not certain. Sorry I couldnt be more descriptive, but that is all I can remember.

I think the guy in the prison cell is saying something about how god is always around, and can never leave him. I think the movie is about someone losing their faith. I saw it on Australian TV about 7 years ago, it was about this guy from space who could change into this robot suit and help the humans fight other evil people in robot suits. I&#39;m pretty sure it was a television series, but there was also a movie made. Sorry if that isn&#39;t enough info, but its all I can remember from the show.

Not a lot I remember on this one , but following the "big robot" theme :)

Mid-to-late 90&#39;s , "classic" animation in the story sequences ,CGI "big robot" battles. Something with a prince/ruler (?) that was overthrown and on the run (?). Only saw 2-3 episodes. One was set near farms (?) , one of the &#39;bots lost both arms. No transforming , the &#39;bots had cockpits. That&#39;s all. May have had one alien.

A person on another board is desperately trying to find a movie ; this is his original post :


While discussing movies with a friend recently, a scene had popped into my head and I can&#39;t remember where I saw this:

It involved a woman who had been kidnapped. Her captors were trying to get information out of her (perhaps location of her child?). One of the captors was a doctor and what they were doing was cutting off her fingers, one at a time (the doctor would fix the wound) until she told what they wanted to hear.

Thats it. All I can recall. Any ideas?

We&#39;ve already been through Suicide Kings , Bound , Zippo , The Man From The South , Mr Jolly Lives Next Door , Darkman , Cat&#39;s Eye and Dead Of Winter. Another poster gave this description - without knowing the title :


I know the movie the OP is talking about. The woman is fearful to help the main character, but she finally does. She flashes back to the bad guys holding her (in a hotel room?) and letting her know if she talks what they&#39;ll do. They then have a doctor surgically remove her finger, stitch it up and santiize it and maybe even give her antibiotics to prevent infection, or something for pain. Their point being something along the lines of "we&#39;re not uncivilized, but we want you to know how serious we are." After this flashback, she removes her glove and looks at her stub. The male lead has left, by this time. I think she provided him a car, too.

Ideas ? This person is getting desperate to know...

i saw this tv show a few years ago. its anime & i think i saw it on cartoon network. there was some kind of army i think. they all fought using these large robots that had cockpits. in the few episodes i saw, they were always battling some kind of huge aliens that fell from the sky. i think they bounced when they hit the ground or something. these robots that the army(?) used had 2 arms & 2 legs. with wings, but they rarely flew. they more-so like flew real close to the ground. in one specific episode i remember there being a smaller girl & young woman in an apartment in a big city. the robots were battling the aliens in this city and part of the girl&#39;s apartment got smashed in the process & then the good guy in the robot came out of his cockpit and talked to him. i believe he knew them...come to think of it, i think the robots transformed into airplanes or something. i dont know. lol. i know this is a lot of wierd information, but i always like watching this show & then it never came on again and i cannot think of the name&#33; :o

I know the movie the OP is talking about. The woman is fearful to help the main character, but she finally does. She flashes back to the bad guys holding her (in a hotel room?) and letting her know if she talks what they&#39;ll do. They then have a doctor surgically remove her finger, stitch it up and santiize it and maybe even give her antibiotics to prevent infection, or something for pain. Their point being something along the lines of "we&#39;re not uncivilized, but we want you to know how serious we are." After this flashback, she removes her glove and looks at her stub. The male lead has left, by this time. I think she provided him a car, too.

Ideas ? This person is getting desperate to know...

here&#39;s one that has been on my mind for a long time. i don&#39;t hold very high hopes of anyone knowing it.

there&#39;s a fat kid, a retarded adult maybe, who&#39;s kept locked in his room by his father. the retard is forbidden to look at any photographs at all because he&#39;s got a supernatural ability to teleport things he wants into his room, the down side being that any living thing dies in the process. my memory of this part is a little blurry, but i think the mother and the family&#39;s dog are already dead because of this. the father hires a nanny to take care of him, telling her to never let him see photos, and of course he doesn&#39;t explain why. she eventually ignores the advice, lets him see a picture of the already-dead mother, and the rotting corpse ends up in the room. i don&#39;t remember what happens after that.

i doubt it&#39;s a full-length film. it&#39;s probably an episode of a 70s or 80s horror tv series, or a segment from a horror anthology film. it might be something along the lines of rod serling&#39;s night gallery, tales from the darkside, or tales from the crypt... perhaps a lesser-known series in the same style.

hi hope someone can help me out with this title, as i can&#39;t remember the exact year around the 80&#39;s and it&#39;s sci fi.

now all i can remember about this film is these photon type guns that when fired at a person&#39;s eyes would put them into a kind of different timezone so either the person who shot them would be able to run or beat the crap out of them,

also there is a bit where this company show a guy an advert and they can tell what he&#39;s looking at and istead of the product that advertised he&#39;s to busy eying up the bikiny clad girls who are holding the product.

wait also remembered this bit a car chase somebody shoots one of those guns into the drivers eyes and everything goes white the next thing they know is that they are in a water fountain in the road.

This ones gonna be hard. It was color, with a horror type plot. I remember seeing it when i was about 10. It was probably a late 80&#39;s early 90&#39;s film. It was about goblins or something. There was this house or something in the woods with a some witch lady in it. I think she controlled the goblins. I seem to remeber light coming from so weird crack in the wall and a lotta green goo. I think the main character was a kid and somethin about nobody believing him. Hope that wasnt too vague.

Nope thats not it. It was more about the witch and here minions. I can&#39;t stress the green goo enough. For some reason thats what I remember most about the film. I think when goblins would die, they would turn into a pile a green goo.

It was a very dark, gloomy almost Ridley Scott/Blade Runner/Alien looking sci-fi film. The main character was a white suit wearing detective who was played by a pretty prominent actor (as I recall). I&#39;m pretty sure I recognized both the main character and the director, though I can&#39;t remember anything about either one now (as well as the plot). Also, for some reason I remember thinking the film was Australian, or possibly British. I&#39;m also very sure that it was from 1984 (if not, it was definitely between 82-84). All I definitely remember was that I dug it enough to want to go looking for it and eventually see it again (when I was more awake).

I know this isn&#39;t a lot to go on, but since IFC doesn&#39;t usually feature too many sci-fi films, I emailed them hoping that someone there might have a clue as to what movie I was referring to. No such luck. So far I have searched all the online movie databases I could find, and have come up empty.

Any help, info or advice as to how to find this title would be greatly appreciated.

Brazil? Kinda had the same feeling about it as "1984", and it was British. Directed by Terry Gilliam, circa 1985. (dunno about the white-suited detective bit though :ph34r: )

It&#39;s from some movie where there&#39;s this beautiful black girl standing on a porch or balcony at night. There&#39;s this guy with her, and judging my their attire, it&#39;s set in the past. She&#39; s wearing this white nightgown and gives him this &#39;look.&#39; He then gets up, picks her up and they start doing it against the wall. Very hot scene. I deleted the file ages ago, but would love to hunt it down again. Does anybody know what movie it&#39;s from?

ok, this movie was aulstrailian i think, it was about a family that partied all the time and had trouble with thier kids. it had an inner meaning , and a moral , and was very entertaining, from what i can remember, one of the stars(the dad) played in &#39;ATTACK OF THE CLONES&#39; as bubba-fets dad. and he also played in the new matrix , i believe.
It was an excellent movie that never got much recognition, but stuck with my wife and I as one of our favorites. Its been years since weve seen it.

MORE DETAILS..... i remember that their daughter kept a journal and was raped by her uncle. and at the end of the movie, the girl hung herself in a tree in the backyard. Her mom found the journal and read it, and went to the bar where her dad was drinking with the same uncle , and showed him the journal and her dad beat the hell out of him and killed him with a broken beer bottle.

He didn&#39;t play in any of the Matrix movies, but perhaps you&#39;re confusing him with Nathaniel Leese who played Mifune.

The reason I&#39;m assuming the first is because he&#39;s an Australian native.

orright. this one has haunted me since i was seven.

I would have seen it on TV in maybe 1989, 1990 - at christmastime, one of those mass produced english movies concerning Christmas. I think this one may have been a spin on the Ebenezer Scrooge story...(cartoon)

There is one image that still gives me nightmares. There is a man who has recently died, and his small son is standing watch by his grave (dont know why) and for some reason this ghost appears and wants access to the grave. The little boy refuses, so the ghost throws him aside and plunges his arms up to his shoulders into the ground, and seems to be wrestling this thing in the ground... theres this ghostly moaning that fills the air. eeek.

heh. Miracle Mile is one of my favorites. that&#39;s the only movie i&#39;ve ever submitted a user comment to imdb.com about... it&#39;s the one comparing Miracle Mile to After Hours & Repo Man. the soundtrack by Tangerine Dream is wicked sweet, too.

btw, After Hours is finally schedule for a dvd release this year. i recommend that just as strongly.

If you can help me I'd be extremmmmmmely impressed.

I have very vague memories of cowering behind the sofa when VERY small re. a B/W flick on TV. It had to be made in the 40's, maybe 50's and was supposed to be horror I think. The only thing I can be sure of was there were 2 brothers in the flic called Caspar and Jasper. I think they may have been deformed, mutilated or the like and had a penchant for growing evil plants in their greenhouse.

That's all I can give you.

I know this is a longshot, but this has bugged me for years. I'm 37 now and would like to see it again, just to see what I do remember.

I'm looking for a movie from the eighties about this psycho killer he has a black borg or cyborg suit that he uses to cover his body and maybe part of his face (burned or disfigured) in one scene a hot chick tries to seduces him and when she pulls his private parts she screams in horror and he kills her. he goes on to kill more young people. when I saw this movie it was double billed with "class of 1984". thanks for all your help

hi there! I just found this thread for the first time today. I hope it is still active.

I've only read the first 30 pages and have no time for more.

there is a movie I watched in the last ten years and only one part sticks in my head.

the movie is about good guys versus bad guys.

the leader of the bad guys is a large white man with a bald head and a deep voice and he calls two henchmen to a meeting.

one henchman is a little man with a southern drawl who says "I sure like your meetings boss."

he says this because at every meeting the boss has 3 women there who give the three men a blowjob during each meeting.

it may have been a porno but I recall the acting was pretty good.

during a meeting, the boss sends the women away then the southern henchman says "uhh, boss?" and points his chin and the boss realizes his large penis is hanging out and puts it away.

this is the only part of the movie I recall because I was thinking if I ever become a crime boss I will do the same thing at meetings with my henchmen.


on a side note, does anyone know where I can download a movie from 1988 called Ninja Academy?

Ok I'm trying to remember this film and have limited amount of info on it, but can't for the life of me know what it is.

1. It's a war film

2. This group of people are meant to be on an exercise when they are captured and sorta-tortured (punched etc)

3. There is a female amonst the soldiers

4. Soldiers are American

5. They get locked in bamboo type cages

I know your post was 4 years ago and I don't know if you will ever read this but I saw some of this movie on t.v. last month.

I was flipping through the channels and caught this movie about 20 or 30 minutes in.

I only watched about 20 minutes of it and was disgusted so stopped.

a group of american soldiers including a woman soldier were in a prison camp and they were being tortured by the camp guards who also appeared to be american soldiers.

they were made to sleep in small bamboo cages that were so small they could not sit down so they had to sleep standing up. the captain of the soldiers was a fairly famous actor and I did not catch the name of the movie.
