will a burner work on a pentum 1 ,400 mhz, 128 mb ram
please tell me so i can burn hitman 3 and ship it 2 pple for free ;)

i do have a 400 mhz it says intel celeron 400 mhz

ah...ok
there are a few difference between pentium's and celeron's. the main one being l2 cache
anyway, your system should be able to burn
it will be very slow though, so don't expect miracles. 2 or 4 speed may be your limit, depending of course on cdrw spec

simple answer: no
the cpu/ram combo isn't fast enough to handle burning at that speed

well, i only have an athlon 2700, 512 meg of ram and an 80 gig drive and i burn at 52x, so i guess so..... <_<
you can't expect such old tech as your current setup to perform at as high levels
