Well I know they're not the same at all but I've got pet tortoises and they can hear pretty good and respond to their names, so maybe turtles are similar. Why didi you want to know anyway

He was driving down the road, there was a turtle in the way.

He beeped his horn and shouted "GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY".

The turtle paid no attention and was subsequently crushed to a pulp.

He wanted to know if it was worth bothering with the audible warning next time.
