Totally agree, the phantom menace was feted by all star wars fans but it was disappointing on many fronts (special effects, story line etc)
i honestly feel that the last 2 LOTR films have become classics in themselves but as a triology its been [will be!!] fantastic!!

I am living my life on hold, waiting breathlessly for "footloose2".

Although Kevin Bacon has refused to be in this one, the odds on replacement for his character is our own "Clocker", with JPaul as the love interest.

It's unfortunate how Peter Jackson mangled the second movie. It sets the third to be just as choppy.
Edit: And here I thought we were all going to appear in The Brunch Club.

That movie won't even be released here, since the series was only on a very small cable channel... So I'm condemned to watch it on a pc screen! :(

For me it has to be Saving Private Ryan. I was at the first screening when it came out. I went on to see it 3 more times at the theater.

for me it was Return of the Jedi
then it was
Star Trek the Wrath of Khan
showing my age but I remeber counting days untill these two movies came out
nothing since has matched them
with the exception of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
Scary Movie 3 I just want to see kinda bad to see what they did in this one.

I think I anticipated Two towers more than any other movie. Come to find out I liked the first movie better anyhow. I am also highly anticipting return of the king and matrix revolutions. But mostly return of the king at this point.
