TTi really should go up.
The invite system in the review is not the current invites system on the site.
You get 1 invite when you get promoted.
PU = 50GB uploaded, the next user classes are hit at 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, 10TB, 20TB.
Any other invites you have to buy through the bonus system.
And they cost 31 days of seeding, note that if you cash in for bonus upload credit, you lose your hours and have to start at zero again.

I think it being a level 3 is kind of a joke, it should be at LEAST 4, maybe 5, and possibly 6 in the future.

The IMO totally ridiculous issue with BitMeTV has little to do with their tracker but much to do with this forum. It seems to be more difficult to get an invite here and that's not really surprising - it has however very little to do with the fact that invites are rare, because they aren't!

Should this WIAW thread reflect the unwillingness of users to offer their BitMeTV invites here or should it rate a true tracker's rareness? There are still plenty of invites given away for free in other (private) places and here people are rallying to change its level to 7. Crazy.

TTi up is something I can understand .. and why is AOM still on the list? That's a tracker beyond any usefulness to 99% of all members here so why list it? Just for the sake of one more rare tracker to add to the collection, I hope not.

NCore uppppp^^^ lvl.5 for now and later on lvl.6. U need 500 Points there which would need at least 500/3 = 166.6 days (this is if u visit the site and UL 1 GB everyday!!!!)
So i think its obvious it should go at least to lvl.5 :S

Then CZone should also go to lvl.7. I mean there are no invites out there, what else should a site do to get rare :S

true, but its not rare. the tracker being strict doesnt really mean its rare. and of course if it goes down, free invites will not be given to anyone like the other same level trackers.

You're really serious? Have you seen enybody offered here swedvdr invite? nobody wont get them because there really isn't many Divine users. And if there is, the users wont risk their account by inviting a user who might cheat or trade it away. You're propably saying that swedvdr should go down, because You don't have it and you want to have it. I think that NB should go back to level 7 because i've seen so many (something 50) topics asking invites and nobody hasn't get them. That's tells alot that NB is still quite rare.

I've seen few request here asking it, but the haven't get it because nobody don't want to give them here. Of course there's couple user who wants to trade invites, but that doesn't make the rarity lower. Here's something like 1000 users and if there's maybe 2 invites offered, i think it's still rarer that lower levels.

I think in BitMeTV's invite system more invites are given out to users who can get invites, but I'd be willing to bet that BMTV has a larger majority of people with disabled invites, or at least people would worry about giving out the invites more, and I think that would make it a lot more rare, plus the demand is really high.

I know this post is not to be taken too seriously and most of this is in jest... but.

I believe Blackcats should be higher than 2, just see my sig for how many torrents are on the tracker, and all of them have seeders.

We also have a lot more members with dedicated SB now, so a lot faster downloads.

We have the SP mod which is unique to any tracker.

I believe Blackcats should be higher than 2, just see my sig for how many torrents are on the tracker, and all of them have seeders.

We also have a lot more members with dedicated SB now, so a lot faster downloads.

The list isnt based on quality as much as its based on how hard it is to get into a tracker. (see AOM at level 7). Black Cats was at level 5 until you opened signups and allow the rush of people to get accounts, thus its now at level 2. As more time passes without opening up it slowly crawls up the list.

Because there is always a tracker rarer than another one and not all of them are the same level to be on level 7 or level 9.

For example I don't know why NB is on the same level as BitmeTV. Everyone with an ok ratio got 1 invite after how long? and if you don't use it, it will be taken away? Where BitmeTV gives 3 invites a month to Power Users?

SweDVDR technically has no invite system and only members which have 1 TB uploaded can get 1 invite and if you don't use it it gets taken away where FTN has an invite system and is level 9?

If all trackers where put on their right place there would be more higher level trackers. The Place seems to be rare, RevTT is rare now with no invite system, iPlay has no invite system either.

Blah the whole rating system is messed up. Only the so called top rare trackers seem to move positions from 7-9 but the others get ignored.

iplay has invite system ,all i need to do is send 10 euros by sms and i get 1 invite. rev TT has invites , VIP or donors have them. FTN is level 9, you can ask for invites,but it doesn't mean you get them, you need clean torrent history, forum activity , etc. Plus if one gets an invite he's not likely to come here and give it if you ask nicely. Swedvdr is lvl 8 cuz about 13k users there, it means a lot of accounts if you know where to look ;)

sct should go back to level 8 .

the reason : TT invite system is back and they ( sct and TT ) was in the same level when the invite system was closed in TT so now sct must be rarer than TT .

As of NOW we have made several changes to site invites.

The invite max is now set to 3. All power users and vips have had their invites removed and Elites have been allowed to keep 3.

Invites are a precious commodity and due to abuse we have taken these drastic measures.

wow i guess your right. i hadnt even noticed the user class and invite system was different from the review. i think it changed before i became a member though. just knew motw is gone (like i said may not be permenent i cant remember) and bonus added as well as motd. thankx for offering to update it. no hurries though whenever you have time of course:) cheers :)

Nope, it's not that hard to get. If you remember they gave out ~20 000 invites to the members a few months ago, and I'm 100% sure that more than a half of them are still not used.

Lvl6 is fine, because there is a big demand for it. Search the invites section for elektonik , you'll get 10 pages results ;)

Pisexy lvl 6/7 - only very old members may have few invites just like FSC....no new members signing up.

Rarity wise ...i'll say it's quite rare, since no invites for long time and no invite will be issue in near future.:O so pisexy deserve to go up when it's come to rarity bullS**t.

They've been doing that forever, mostly in form of never ending themed promotions. It's probably the cheapest P2L offer on any torrent site I know of (they still don't allow H&R though).

HT is a very good 0day tracker. I can see it at a level 5 easily, and level 6 fit for it. It definitely beats out trackers rated level 7+ on pre times by far. Anybody that would agree/disagree?

because we let in nearly 50,000 users the other month to get to 100,000 (just a personal milestone) so we plumtted down the rankings.

we used to open as well after that just to get some new blood in, the problem was 90% of the new blood was poisened.

We now have a recycled torrents system on the tracker, so old torrents get bumped to the top of browse, only installed 2 days ago but already seems to be working wonders.

Im the owner and i used to like opening up now and again, but now i think with 75,000+ members, the recycled torrents, and all the rubbish we seem to get in, we will be closed indefinately, and we also do not have any invites at all.

(i also want to get to lvl 10 on this list :lol: )

To climb that ladder with 100,000 members is kinda difficult besides you already among the second ranking with a 9 ,don't be too greedy :P

Cheats especially from Brazil for some reason, but Israel was starting as well.

Lots of dupe accounts, we had 1 user register 300 accounts when we opened up for a month. they then sell these on ebay and such (i would prefer trading than that tbh, but i dont like trading either)

ppl that come and leech, get 4 games and never come back, because they think we are the same as most other trackers out there, where global ratio is the only thing that matters, or even worse, come from the public side and think they can just leech away at their hearts content, and get annoyed when they cant download anymore.

bottom line is though, we have just got new forums installed, just moved the db over to a new server with 16gig ram, we have a good userbase and a great community, so its time to shut up shop for awhile, and take stock of where we are, and what we can work on next, as we are always tweaking bits and bobs of the tracker to make it better for everyone.
