It really doesn't matter if there's no demand. A 1 has always been reserved for sites with open sign ups meaning that if it closes it should go up to a 2 automatically. Anything past a 2 requires demand.

I posted this 5 days ago so it's been said along with other 1's that don't belong there. It just wasn't acknowledged till a few posts ago.


ScL, Softmp3 and STMusic are all closed for sign ups. All should be at least a level 2 till it can be assessed how invites are to work. ST had no business being a 1 and it had been there for a while as the last open signup before the 23rd was in Oct. It should be moved back up to a 2 on the 24th. It is also considerably harder to get into SCC vs before the invite overhaul so it should be moved back up to a 3 where it was before the overhaul. Then there's iTS you pretty much have to fight tooth and nail to get an invite there unless your staff. A 2 is inappropriate for this site it should be a 4. There is more but this would be a good start.

BDT its a [B]0-day trackers with rare files and packs.
The rating is 7. Why?
Compared to some other hungarian sites:
The content of BDT a little better than Insane Team:
-BDT has many more torrents(8600 torrents), and better content as Insane.
Same with Independence:
-Independence has same torrents with a little better content as BDT.
Compared with Moobs and SpeedFire:
-BDT has better speeds and content.
The sites is fairly easy to obtain, also level 3(see on review the invite system).

I can't help myself. There have been several posts in the BT section comparing pre's, and sct does NOT win always, or most of the time even. They do have great pre's, but this is a RARITY thread, has nothing to do with content.

To the person who says it should drop another level because you "can pay 20 and your in", this isn't true either. A non-member can not donate his way in, you have to HAVE sct to donate for an invite. So it makes invites easier for MEMBERS to get, not non-members seeking sct, which is what this thread is all about (how hard is it for a non-member to find invites to X site)...

Its fine on its new level IMO.

Historically, this thread was created in order to stop countless thread of traders saying : "Have Demonoid, need FTN plz"

This system was put in place so that new comers in the bittorrent scene got more informations about trackers, with reviews and content/rarity rankings

This system might not be perfect, it still provides informations that are needed by some members of this community, mainly traders (yeah some still exist over here!)

I will be honest, i maintain this thread and i'm not a trader myself

However, I respect those who do trade because i believe that trading is pretty much the same for trackers security than the countless giveaways made by traders as well as non/anti-traders on FST.

In both case, you give the opportunity to a stranger to join a tracker, he could be from RIAA, MPAA etc... you'll never know, even with a good post history and reputation...

People claiming to be anti-traders while on the other hand giving away invites to stranger is a non-sense to me.

What are you real motivations to be an anti-trader is you don't respect trackers rules?

To conclude, I think that as long as trading will be authorize on FST, this thread will remain. Some might hate it, like it, don't give a damn about it, it won't change the fact that some members consult informations found in this thread ;)

1st time i wasnt owner so had nothing to do with it, 2nd time was me and only for 1 hour.

100 people got in normally, 300 more we had to create accounts for because the db deleted them.

We will not be opening again any time soon (i wont say never as things can change obviously) but i do not want to open in the forseable future.

but in the other hand, lets all pretend we will be opening soon that way we wil not go up lvls on this list, that way people wont be tempted to trade, but we will catch you.

iTS review

iTS is a new general tracker from Slovakia but all the site is in English. It's very easy to keep good ratio at iTS. Every user are allowed to upload there (exept moderator have to authorize your torrent first). This tracker has good and active forums. The staff is very helpful. Tracker has and a IRC channel

I think scc can go up to level 4! just take a look at the list. The palce and the vault are level4 but you can request an invite on their irc and you can get it if you fill in a form. So scc should move to level 4!

With regard to STMusic it is rated as level 1 which is for open signup trackers. This site is not open signups, you need an invite code to join it.

It should atleast be level 2.

i think the new levels are way more accurate than they were with those changes, wheelmods and rabbit are on different levels and will stay this way for a while, unless i see no particular increase in their userbase

FTN could very well stay at level 8, given the fact that a slight amount of invites are given out, moreso than at the sites above it. Matter of a opinion, I suppose.

FTN had MANY giveaways in the last months ,users received 2 invites for the hoolidays at request, however you look at it it's not hard at all to get in now. Actually i would dare to say it's ridiculously easy ,especialy if you think about it back in the summer.

About Swedvdr , has smth changed with the invites or why did it suddently droped ? The drop of F*** is not right, you can't lower a tracker the minute it has invites, you have to wait and see how things are going with it, what good is to have an invite system and the availability to be the same. A bit rash and not throughly thought about the ratings.

Anyway ,no need for so many complaints about the changes, people trade how they want to, this thread is just for a small evaluation of rarity.

Cause you saw two mor giveaway at christhmas time? On Fsc you can request invite evry month if you reach the needed class. Secon why is swedvdr still on the list? and if they on i didn't hear anything abuot their invite system, is it closed or not but i see no changes about swedvdr. So to put ftn to level 8 and swedvdr to level 7 is totally useless.
And finally you lowered ft*r. Why? cause they enable invites? And? It's mean that you can get it more easily? I don't think so. Only few ppl have invites and they only give invites those ppl who is in the highest class and tell the staff who will the invite got!

So please do something with it or close this thread!;)

I think there are alot of users here who would strongly disagree with this.

How many FTN request threads are there daily? How many are successful? How many giveaways were there during the holidays, honestly? How many are there now? How many people will never give out one of these new FTN invites, just keeping it for themselves? And last but not least, how many many pages long we're these "typical" FTN giveaways? Pages and pages full of people desperate to win, but how many won?

They didn't just hand out invites to everyone. You still had to be FTN Power and you still have to request it, SUCESSFULLY.

level 2 and 3 have been merged, i don't think it's really significant to have them on seperate levels and it's highly subjective on which level to rank these trackers which are easy to obtain and is not essential for trading purpose at all

so level 3 is kind of the old level 4 and so on (harder to obtain for various reasons)

personnaly, i like it, hope you do also, and please no comment like this one : "sct level 5 wtf, must go up!!", it's still the same level it was relatively to the others, NOTHING changed

I don't think so. Even with the changes on the site, it still fits in with the other trackers in it's level. It most certainly doesn't have equal rarity with anything in level 5.

However, I think BlackCats should go up a level to 5. They do open registrations, but it's not that often, and there is such a huge demand for the site. Even when they do open registrations for 24 hours or whatever, there's still tons of users who missed it and want the tracker.

And I also think ScT should go up to 6. They gave out invites, but I'm not seeing a lot of invite transfers around, and the demand for ScT is also substantially higher than most sites, so no matter how many invites are given out, it couldn't be enough.

Other than that, I love how 7-10 looks now. Very accurate, a nice change. :yup:

Well after just a few months seeing this thread, ive noticed.

Open for a day, you go down 2 levels +

Stay closed for 6 months and have no invites, Stop members changing their emails and passkeys so its realy hard to trade and you stop where you are.

Its a hell of a lot easier to go down on this list than up, but like ive said all along, we could be lvl 1 as long as we have a [9] thats all i care about.
