While the motivations behind RealtY's decision for the sudden, unannounced change make little sense to members new and old are unknown, we are part of a community here. People operate the site, some post the NZB files you use, others provide info/humor(?)/help to others. That's a fair reply and I own some dues to FST so ill throw some paypal goodies the sites way. I was refering to shows that don't get listed in the NZB section, usually the 1080p flavours but I source them elsewhere so it's not a massive thing.

Might very well be your second post, but you still have to be registered for 15 days, only then will the system allow you to see the download nzb button.

Most nzb sites will allow you to share nzb files, but there are some releases that are unique to some sites, scene releases do not normally fall into that category, so generally scene releases can be shared, just not internal site releases in some cases.

The moderation filter doesn't work on a per-forum basis. It looks for some spam-related keywords and hides the post if there's a match. It tends to be oversensitive at times (posts consisting of just "Hello" are usually flagged...) but usually it won't take more than a few hours for one of us to approve your posts manually.

I agree. I don't usually post in the forums, but do sometimes make comments (other than "thanks") pertaining to a download, which is more meaningful that just posting here to get enough posts to be able to download!

I think the name of the game is to post a couple of "meaningful" responses or post in the various forum areas, and then they will graduate you to a position to access the NZB's. Hope that helps. But you might want to look around the the board for a more definitive explanation.

I've been downloading NZBs from here for quite a while, but this evening there doesn't appear to be a download link on any of the NZB listings?

I know I'm probably doing something derpy... but any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE :: You have to become or HAVE BEEN a member for at least 15 days and ALSO you need to post 2 times (by replying to a thread or creating a thread here in forums) if you haven't already. Then within 15 minutes you will be a member and see the ability to download again. It's possible you may have to wait for the system to do its update, can be up to 30 minutes, log out, come back later, log back in and check your status. Yes, some notification would have been nice...

UPDATE 2 :: If you think you've gotten more than $100 worth of stuff over all the YEARS you've been using the site, don't be a cheap ass... make a small donation. It won't kill you. Let's keep these mofos in business.

All you've gotta do is post a picture or more of your computer setup, and maybe tell us about it. Sometimes we're interested enough to ask, and sometimes we just look, but either way, it's an easy thing to post, and we won't think you're silly for doing it.

Just type up something about a movie you've watched recently, and what was good or bad about it. Just a few lines are enough, and as long as you write what appealed to you about it (and don't just grade it on a random scale like 10/10), you might even get a decent conversation out of it, or tips about what to watch next, which can be interesting if you've got an interest in movies.

There are many other threads to look at like that, and hey, people have been known to post things like project logs of new car builds in the hardware section, which could be inspiration for something new, if you can't think of something else.

And just remember that most of us had nothing to do with the new rule changes, but that it's us who'll be wading through pointless posts from those of you who'd rather spam up the place.
