Someone else did, on the proxy's IP. With the amount of people who will want to register and the little proxies available, I'd call being able to register being lucky.

It's okay to use them to log in even if others are using it as well, though.

I've yet to see something like that, probably because Bulgaria wouldn't be an "interesting" location unlike e.g. the US or UK, where a VPN gets you access to Pandora, Hulu, Netflix, Spotify...

You could try asking someone from that country to make an account for you, or if you're feeling lucky, using open HTTP proxies.

Well it seems to have a simply JavaScript script running that just Redirects the webpage to the current webpage over and over again. A some what strange way to be "down". Tracker is down as well though, but still strange way for a website to be down :P, maybe a script automaticly created by the provider when a website is down. Still odd :P

Due to domain problems (seized by its government) it has been renamed last year from its old name torrents.ru, under which it has been active since 2004. For this reason I have kept the old TRU code in the title.

As it is in the Russian language, users not mastering this may be deterred from using it. This is unnecessary; as someone not familiar with the language I find using the site quite easy. You can either:

* Use Chrome's auto-translate function
* Copy-paste bits in a translator, you'll soon know your way around.

Without doubts, it's must have tracker. Except very decent amount of music, tv-shows (including very rare and old), e-learning content, sport torrents, there are a lot of films different genres, quality and years. I think this tracker have the largest collection of films (include non-mainstream, rare and old movies (even in HD)).

As for navigating, it's very easy, just type that you want in English in search and press enter. Every films, music album, e-learning material have an original and English title.

As for the ratio, it's practically ratio-free tracker. You just need to seed complete torrents and earn time bonuses. Besides, even if you would have a low ratio <0.3, you just would be able to download from 3 to 10 torrents per day (depending on time bonuses). Also it's very easy-to-seed tracker.

If you're looking for something, you can be sure that it is available at Rutracker.org.

OK, I realize this might come as a bit of a shock, but the time has come to close the doors for good. The torrent world has now had 4+ years to understand where the true p2p and 100 % non profit TV-torrent site is located, and that's more than enough time for everyone to make a decision.

As a result of these 4 years TvTz is now a community filled with dedicated TV-loving ppl, sharing TV-experiences and helping each other with all sorts of things. Together with the BIG virtual HDD vision we've always wanted to keep the "club" feeling, knowing that as long as we stay together we can make jumps to other technologies (if necessary) without loosing any of our visions and accomplishments.

To fulfill the plan that was laid out by PH more than 4 years ago we will therefore now close the doors for good, which if you think about it really only is the last step of a 4 year long transformation from a torrent site into a TV club for comrades. Please note that this is not about shutting anyone out, because we've been more or less open for 4 years (!), and anyone with a reasonably stable connection has been able to join and maintain a membership here. This final step is all about creating the best possible sharing environment that we all deserve!

Starting from November 1st it will not be possible to get an account here. No invites, no signup links, nothing. Ever! So please hurry and make sure you get everyone you think would be a good member on board! And do it now! In November it will be too late!

Last but not least, my apologies to staff for keeping you in the dark on this as well. This last step was not due for another year (following the original 5-year plan by PH), but for different reasons I really needed to push this forward ahead of schedule. And that unfortunately meant I could not inform you like I wanted to. Sorry about that!

Obviously this had to be kept a secret for the whole world for a long long time though, to make sure all true TV-lovers and really good members out there would have plenty of time (4 years should be enough) to start an account and get a good membership going. You know who you are because you are reading this now.
