Truth I like Portuguese chicken here as well, we also have a roasted chicken place here Swiss Chalet, There saying is "Always so good for so little" , but that is bullshit now....

So my recommendation stands , rub oil and salt, throw it in the oven 425 degrees (or your conversion), i use tin foil on the baking sheet, you can use parchment paper as well, they turn out exactly the same as fries really, and if it is just yourself, one potato cut up is good, and really less mess....

I should say the way you cut the slices are good, just throw them in the oven....

As for steaks, lamb chops, ribs, if the kids come sometimes i cook sometimes i order, but that cost is crazy different , way cheaper to make it yourself for the same quality.....
