my system
1.5ghz
512 ram
9600 xt
i have the alpha, but it's slow as hell!
sometimes it says "cache overflow"
is there a problem?

your specs might be a little to low....i have a 2.4gh 512 mb and a geforce 4 nvidia mx card and it works ok....but not perfect....the recommendec were i think like 2.0 gh....wait till it comes out

whoaa it run on a mx? he has a 9600xt....his cpu is a little slow but its a 9600xt

its not the real game don't worry about it. When the game comes out the game should run fine on your pc.

your a homo if you judge how good a games gonna run on such a early release. the Min Requierments are 1 Ghz P4 or AMD Athlon. 256 MBs Ram and a GeForce 3 TI.

Doom 3 won't run well on many PCs, when it should, just because they are Xbox-ing it. Halo, (Xbox coversion) only ran with good settings on monster PCs (I mean with AA and AF enabled) and that was still jerky. Deus Ex 2 (Xbox conversion) was also very power hungry.

The Doom 3 alpha was very unstable... it will work for some pc's with reasonable performance, while it won't even work at all for others. I'd just wait unitl the release if i were you, not really worth fussing over.
