I installed this version of kazza with no problems but now the program wont open. It almost loads but then closes... someone please help?

I'm using windows xp sp2 if that helps?

Their server is down. Not unusual. They have had problems with their server quite frequently over the last year. Hopefully they'll be up a going again. The last time I checked, they were working on ver 2.7 alpha 5.

that's a known issue brought up in the VIP forum. there's no virus, i assure you ;)

and Spy Sweeper might have a problem with TopSearch.dll, ignore this as K-Lite blocks all the adware functions of the file

if you start k-lite 2.7 and then used resume all downloads the expand view of downloads doesn't work (if you try to expand view for the downloads)

@ Isamma - i get that if i have been searching for a long time and have a few tabs open due to low sys res.....win98SE - Kazaa 2.6

i have like 512mb ram and winxp sp2 amd athlon xp 3200 pro
and i have the same effect but if the traffic is active for long time and k-lite is not minimized then nothing happen ... so what could be the issue?????

if you try to switch between traffic and search or web tabs after having the same problem as before..(when k-lite is minimized and then maximized after long period ) then kazaa crashes

Ok download it, not bad at all.
works great and has same option as the KlExtension(khancer, right?)
except one thing, it takes twice resources of klite 2.4.3 and the search results r soo few, in klite243 there was hell lots of search results.

i stoped caring about klite since project droped down, and after this long i started to try this new builds again(just becuz klite243 aint connecting :lol: ).

A very nice experiment I have made is trying the new k-lite 2.7 with kmd 3.0 with very nice results



1- no crap ware is loaded and my system is clean

2- features of khancer are not enabled

3- kazaa loads and downloads very easily

4- pl 1000 registry is usfull

hi all i found this (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showpost.php?p=938382&postcount=270) bug ... but guess what i found the solution to be very easy....

just download less files in the same time ... it very common thing foe less sources systems and for more sources systems ... any way download as Little as possible files in the same time and you will get red of this bug

Nsane's download of K-lite 2.7 beta 2 MP3 Shield did not install. How can I maxamize my shared folder using this version. I have tried everything?

Can you add MP3 Shield 2.0 b instead of 2.0 so it will check while you are downloading?Also when I click on my shared folder on toolbar window is not maximised, you have to click on square. I would like to see it maximised when you click on it.

ps: i have used kshield.exe to install kmd 3.0 without spyware and adware and used k-lite 2.7 to load the program and it worked .. but no khancer features are present ( you need to rename kazaa300_en.exe kazaa272_en.exe) in order to make kshield.exe work.....

I am running k-lite beta 3 and Nsane the mp3 shield does not work properly. When you download a song it is not scanning your song immediately, you have to wait and scan whole my shared folder.

i should say this : i was having a very big problem with k-lite and i was going to change my ST p2p client to e mule but after releasing this new k-lite . all i can say :no: :P to e mule..

well, WIndows comes with Windows Media PLayer and the average user probably wont uninstall it. Personally, I have it installed but dont use it. I know there are some programs that rely on Windows Media PLayer ;)

I noticed thats it DOES upload files that are downloaded into my default shared folder ("My Shared Folder"). Additional shared folders are not uploaded at all.

This has actually happend to people. They notice their uploads only happen from their shared folder and not addition folders. I suppose its a bug in KMD itself, but yeah, go seek help in the k-lite forums ;)
