Was it a good night out? I used to know a couple of lovely Irish boys. They knew how to party. :P

So in this thread you can all nudge me towards five-starred respectablity.

Ask me questions or whatever and I'll answer.

I won't necessarily tell the truth but stars don't care about lies.

So get to work, ya bums.

Yeah, it was a good night. I've got the shakes so it must have been good.

Yes, it's a sorry state of affairs when an Irishman's soul reason for existence is to separate himself from his liver.

:P Oh for sure. There is no better cure. Lots of greasy fried food. Kill or cure. I use the same method.

One time I had a party and invited everyone back for breakfast, cooked bacon, eggs, tomatoes, potatoes, all sort of stuff on the BBQ. And gave them my "sure to cure a hangover" fruit punch. Damn! Just plain forgot to tell them I'd emptied a bottle of vodka into it.

Party on......................

It's the Kabbalah, Snny. There are various spellings of it.

It's the Jewish tree of life and a map, if you will, to intent and magic.

I'm very interested in it at the minute.

Doh, it said so at the bottom.

I should have known, though as I've stated before organized religion is not one of my favourite features of the world of man. Or woman for that matter.

Belonging to the video-game generation I got stuck on Sephiroth.

Ever read Alistair Crowley btw? Speaking of religion   :D

I, eh, accidentaly downloaded some, no most of his works off kazaa once.
That was one mad bugger.

I think That Crowley was largely misunderstood, Snny. Though, I'll admit that he had quite a penchant for silliness and theatrics.

Intrinsically, making this thread was an act of magic or will.

Magic is the manipulation of available forces to acheive the magician's aim.

do you have a plan on what the 1000th post should be.

mebbe people could make a suggestion.

I think it should be :

When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
I have been pondering it, JP.

It'll have to be something good.

What is pray tell.

A concert would be a performance, normally in a theatre, watched by an audience.

Had fags in every one of them...The fucking teacher was gay. What does that say to you, I dunno but what it says to me is that theatre is fucking gay.

I don't think it's cool. That would be like saying books are cool, or music is cool.

I think some is good, some is bad. Some is great and some is shite.

I simply disagree that ALL and I mean ALL is gay.

As I am partially dyslexic, as well as semi-literate, I'm afraid I'll have to beg off on that one.

I've decided that, ultimately, I am not totally in charge of my actions, and must therefore pursue legal protection with regard to the content of my posting. :P

I am trying also to grow a nice set of paranoia (for esthetic purposes); the blossoms will look nice against the pale blue background here, don't you think?

I'll let you know how it goes. :D

Just because something is acceptable does not mean it is not ugly or diselegant.

Just so-

I must defer to your more refined sensibilities.

I can't say I'm totally lucid with regards to it myself, Snny.

I do recall reading Gunter Grass's The Tin Drum and the subject being raised with bitterness.

I believe it had a lot to do with that old rabble-rouser Marx. After he spilled his guts, global unrest was inevitable.

Interesting but not enough to make a valid translation.

Will have to keep searching.

May have to rewrite it and say something about the relocation of funds to the war effort.
