i waqs just wondering if its possible to add either a video input or scart connector to my tv, as it currently doesnt have one, i ahve to use the scart on the tv, and turn the video to its av input channel, and tune the tv into the video channel to use it.
so is it possible to add a scart connector to the tv so i can get rid of the video as i never use it.

edit: or if thats not possible, how to make an small external rf convetor.

the scart died on ym tv so i loop it through a video recorder. i cant quite remember, apparently its cheaper to buy an n64 and put a i think 5v adapter on the rf converter included than buy a proper one. my bro may have been exagerating.

sorry for spamming, i'll go on a googlequest for you to make up for it :01:

you can buy RF modulators.
I have one but don't use it anymore (i use a VCR now). It has AV input (composite wires, the new ones have svideo and possibly scart and component) and RF\coaxial output.

rf modulators seems pretty dear. can get a new tv for about the price of them,
just thinking after i posted i bought an rf adaptor for my xbox, i can probably rip that apart and use that.

edit: or find a cheap tv with scart

Shiat, you can get a RF adapter for less then $20US at more than a few places.

If you're truly desperate, you can use an old VCR(as long as it has a video input). All VCRs have a built-in RF modulator.

my .02¢

my .02¢Brilliant idea. He should definitely get a VCR so that he doesn't have to loop it through his VCR.
