Which bittorrent client do you use?

erm, because its the most feature-rich, stable, powerful client available on any platform.

utorrents alright if you're running on crappy hardware with winblow$ or youre too dense to understand how to configure azureus... :whistling

Transmission is nice, but it's not in the poll and it lacks a lot of the features hardcore torrenters need.

well since i was forced to upgrade from utorrent 1.6.1 i now use utorrent 1.7.2 for most sites and the ones that dont allow it i use azureus 2.5.0.4

because in many tracker have restrict client and utorrent is more friendly than azureus
If no restrict client i will use bitcomet it's seeding more efficiently than utorrent

I'm actually trying to find one that suits me best. Being a somewhat advance user/programmer is there one that anyone would recommend? Preferably one without ads but others are welcome. One with advanced options and the option to skin it would be nice as well.

I second that... uTorrent is small and doesn't use a lot of resources. I haven't upgraded to the latest versions though. I still use 1.6 and 1.6.1 on another comp

I used utorrent, but it has been banned too much. I have been using Azureus for several moths now. It gives me some trouble when it is not running and I click on a torrent. Nevertheless, what I do is to start the program before clicking a torrent I want.

I'm using Azureus 2.5.0.4 on Ubuntu. I prefer the using the beta builds, but unfortunately some trackers ban the newest versions due to various reasons.
On Windows I used uTorrent for a long time... it gets the job done. These days I much prefer Azureus over uTorrent to be honest.
I've tried many of the other clients available and so far Azureus is the only one I can stand to use consistently.

Well, i'm using azureus and transmission with my mac becau they are the best for mac. i don't use rTorrent because i don't know how to install it :blush:, but everyone says that it's good...

i tried Azureus and did not like it. i use µTorrent 161. i had problems with other µTorrent and did not like them. the only thing i do not like about 161 is that in packs i have to remove manually each rar i do not want to download.
