3DS and DSi XL are the same price! No cuts planned

Maybe you were hoping that Nintendo would also push down the price of their other portables after yesterday's 3DS price drop from $249 to $169. IGN asked following yesterday's announcement and get a flat "No" back from Nintendo.

That means that the DS Lite stays at its low price of $99.99, and the DSi is still set at $149.99. It's kind of funny to think about the DSi XL being the same price as the 3DS. I bet XL systems will just rot on shelves if they're not cut in price.
