• Star Wars on Blu-ray details

20th Century Fox has announced that the 9-disk collection of Star Wars: The Complete Saga will be available on Blu-ray 14 September 2011 for AU$139.95 or AU$69.95 for either trilogy.

The sets include over 40 hours of bonus material, including original featurettes, deleted scenes and spoofs from the likes of Family Guy.

The original trilogy (IV-VI) is made up of the Special Edition versions from 1997, not the original theatrical releases, unlike the existing DVDs.

All of the movies will be shown in full high-definition and 6.1 DTS surround sound. If you want 3D, though, you'll have to wait until next year - and see them only at cinemas.
