my speeds are usually fine with zonealarm running, but now, my speeds are 0kb/s. should i keep firewall running when dling to keep the bad ips that i added to zonealarm out of my comp? should i just turn it off and use peerguardian? and u can allow ports 6881-6889. i've asked this millions of times, and no one answered my question. how do i allow the ports 6881-6889 in zonealarm? and that guide that people post doesn't tell u shit bout zonealarm

you have asked plenty of times and got the same anwser from different people
you should leave za on but you need to configer it correctly

n/p glad to help
I have giving him links and tried to walk him throe it several times, can't believe he still doesn't get that you leave the firewall on and just configure it, guess he needs someone to physically come over to his house and walk him through it

zonealarm is really the idiot proof program to use so if you still dont know how to use it i dont know what to call you...
just allow it to access internet and server rights, it works perfectly fine for me
oh and btw if you use a router you need to configure THAT, not za <_<
-
I did port forewarding on my linksys router, have not changed anything in ZA and it works fine.
-
well if you open your ports in za, you get even faster speeds
-
I have the internet zone security set to medium so I shouldn't have to do anything else.
-
i use shadow's exp and it uses ports 6881-6999 is that normal? cuz the guide says 6881-6889
and i'm guessing i input the port #'s in the allow incoming UDP and incoming TCP ports rite?
