I just got that message (well, they asked for $2/month) but I skipped it and it keeps on playing. Slightly annoying.
Edit: ok fuck that shit, it keeps popping every two minutes or so.
I just got on the site and played some music and no message popped up(US here). Not sure if it will pop up when I log into my account though.
If it does I'm just going to leave the service alone. Even with all the money that Idol's sis pays me on a weekly basis I'm too week to shell out a couple bucks a month for GS.
There's a custom GS client called Groovewalrus. Maybe using it will evade the block?
