if my mouse idle, the wmp/winamp/or any other music playing software will do something 'brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt' sound. like distorted or so. i have to move my mouse around and around to prevent this. :(
owh, btw this thing happened to some videos to. i keep thinking its either about my quick heating cpu or the softwares themselves. :unsure:

i would try
reinstall the software for mouse(if u installed one in the first place)
Reinstall update video audio codecs
atlast resort update grfx drivers
reinstall your codec packs and reisntall sound drivers.
also make sure microphone is disabled in your sound properties. I've heard some pretty weird things from the microphone jack.
i had removed my microphone jack and that brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt sound still there.Quote:

unplugging mouse? btw its not only mp3s. well, i do try with mpc format. but not as brrrrrrrrrrrt as mp3s. it sometimes happened. including the avi. mostly Xvid format of avi. :unsure:Quote:
