Microsoft update warning , catch 22

In Internet Explorer
Tools > Manage Add-ons
Disable "Windows Genuine Advantage" thingy

Close Internet Explorer, then go back to the update site

there has to be a catch......they're recording fkrs that disable it or somethin... :shifty:

OH no it works I was going to ask Ross to delete this thread cause I feel 'stoopid ' but glad Andy 's post saved me . I'd rather leave a post warts and all if it helps someone ,and I know those who know me would smile anyway . You can't try hard or share too much ! :)
