The reason why the disqualifications numbered so many were to reduce the list of those most suitable down to a manageable level, so who was left really were the most trustworthy candidates of the highest calibre so that those anon inviters with any doubts knew I had done the homework, and would be able to invite anyone left with total confidence. There isn't an unlimited supply of invites, and to that poster posting the animosity that was posted I have no doubt you will have scared some invites away, for that I say well done you brainless idiot, I hope you now feel really proud of your actions on reflection.

There was nothing personal against anyone, and those who missed out this time are more than welcome to keep trying in the future, just not in this thread at this time.

Those that took it personally need to get a grip on reality and look to why you was overlooked this time, and I wish you best of luck in the future.

I don't personally care for this but it's your deal and for that I hope your successful as it means putting good quality invites out there. I think there are plenty of better qualified people out there who didn't make a request thread for whatever reason that should be aloud to participate and that potential is being hindered.

And can you imagine the size of the thread and the amount of effort needed to go through each applicant that would have posted in that thread?

Would you have started such an open request thread and be able to have kept it to a manageable and sustainable quantity, 100s would have just replied, there had to be limits both on the applicants and the amount of time I had to manage it.

There are better things to do with my time at this time of year :)

You have a very good point for that I commend you. I'd have to imagine people would crawl there way out of who knows where to find this thread. I do still appreciate you getting a good site like this out there. This is a good thing for all us members who don't have access to the site at this time as it puts us one step closer to joining.

I don't hide, nor hide from my past, it's best to confront such issues and answer them as best and as honestly as possible, and if others can see the errors I made in the past and that they themselves try not to make the same errors, then all is well.

And that sometime later those very same users come back and hand out more invites to here, rather than stay away like most do (or try & trade them under other names or in different places :angry: ), then that can only be a good thing.
