I have set this up using the Go6 method. However I cannot get my alt.binz to connect. I am using the bat with this
Now I can use the SABnzb program to download no problem, however I would prefer to use my alt.binz. Everytime it loads it says it cannot connect to either the eweka or newszilla servers. I am using WinXP and have my wireless connection shared and also went ahead and shared ports 118, 119 and 1119, 1118. When I visit kame.net and Go6 I see that I do have the IPv6 connection but I just cannot figure out why my alt.binz wont connect but SABnzb can. Anyone got any ideas?Code:netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=1119 connectaddress=news.ipv6.eweka.nl connectport=119
netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=1118 connectaddress=newszilla6.xs4all.nl connectport=119
cd C:\Program Files\altbinz\
altbinz.exe
See I could never figure that out either, I just used SABnzb because it worked flawlessly, so there is some kind of hard code to use for the other clients, and I have no idea what it is.
I think it has something to do with WinXP because I know other people that have done it with Vista and they can use alt.binz, newsleecher, or grabit no problem. I believe it has something to do with the sharing of the internet connection with the Go6 connection. At least thats the only explanation I can think of.
something very important if you want to use newsleecher or alt.binz
1.cmd>netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=119 connectaddress=news.ipv6.eweka.nl connectport=119
2.server address- localhost

I assume the Go6 only works with a direct to Internet connections.
What about people that are behind a router, what could they do to have an IPv6 ?
You can find a program in Go6 for those who are behind a router .
Hmm, my guide, that is on the first page is through a router and wireless connection..
