This isn't gonna help you, cause you don't know where on your MB to find this. Move jumper from set positions 1&2 to 2&3 for 5 sec then back. Or vice versa.

That's right. Just connect for 5 secs or more and the put the jumper back where it was. Turn the power back on and try it.Quote:

no be fair im new to these things!
People what u have been saying has worked but:
1.my keyboard freezes on the startup screen (so i cant set the cmos)
2.My monitor still doesnt come on it does sometimes though

connect those two points together with something metal for FIVE seconds.
Or- Put the battery in backwards for five seconds.
