I just been reading through the manual on upgrading memory and it says it can support a maximum of 256mb memory, it has four 72-pin SIMMS. It supports 2mb up to 64 mb of memory module.
this dont sound good if it means what i think it does will i have to get a new mother board? :(
Just hold on a bit. I'm seaching for more information about your board. Maybe you could tell me who makes that board? I think it's MSI but I'm not sure.

is that pentium 4 CPU 1.60 Ghz

It doesn't make sense that you would have SIMMS in Pentium 4 - 1.60 Ghz system.
I still cannot identify your motherboard.
If you open your case and look inside perhaps you could see the RAM modules. They usually have identifying stickers on them.
sounds bit funny here too, first u say u have pc2100, then u have 72pin simms. which im sure are pretty ancient. are u sure u have read the manaul for that board

Either this is a computer-illiterate who is trying to work out how to upgrade his computer without any knowledge of comuters, or it's a pisstake. Either way, I don't see anything we can say being of help.

i opened the side and it looks NOTHING like the manual i kinda think thats the manual for my other pc :ph34r:
