Haha I remember my days of using that site. It used to sketch me the hell out though, back in the day the design practically screamed "virus". No clue if it's changed much over the years.

You guys do know that the 'referer' HTTP header gets only sent when you click a link in a site, rite?. For example, when you first read TF, then move to FST to troll for a while by entering the URL to the address bar and finally select your favourite porn site via your bookmarks, FST or the porn site will not know where you came from.
The referer however does get sent every time when you click on the "forum" tab from FST front page, then select "File sharing" and finally this topic.
It's in the standards: RFC 2616.
That's out of the question. :) The issue is, if site A links to site B directly, and you have referers enabled, B will know you came to it via A. I don't want that to happen (and apparently, neither does Expeto), so I've toggled them off.Quote:
