Was Oleg actually serious when he started that other thread or was he just joking?

Has it been universally accepted if there's any truth behind this melodrama, or if its a farce? The posts are so painful to read that I've missed out on half his story, but if he's trolling he's sure fooling me (but not enough to bring me out of apathy).

I've been discussing it with my friends for quite some time; we haven't reached a specific decision in regards to this yet. It's just that... they are normal people.
