Does'nt matter on brand at that money cos their all just as good as each other :)
My first guitar was an Encor Strat copy for £89 new :)
Sounds fine, at beginner level the only difference between that and a US strat is the name :)
Don't forget, you need an amp, and if you want to play Nirvana you're gonna need a distortion fx pedal unless you get one on the amp :)
Seriously, find a second hand one, it's an amazing thing to play guitar but there's no point in spending more than you have to before you know you're gonna enjoy it :)
Second hand, from a dealer preferably, otherwise you could end up with a banana necked axe :rolleyes:
