right click on the desktop>properties>settings>advanced>ATi 3d tabs (there might be one for open GL and one for Direct 3d, or there might be two different tabs, depending on your driver)
In both Direct 3d and Open GL select "Application controlled" for AA and AF. That way when the benchmark is run you don't get a lower score due to your settings.
Also disable "always off" vertical sync when benchmarking in both Open GL and Direct 3d.
Went to that and hit custom settings, the AF and AA were already set right but I changed the vertical sync to always off, will run another bench and see if it makes any differenceQuote:

Yeah, try to disable as many services as possible. I gave you a link above to a list of services that you need versus those that you do not.
Edit: your aquamark3 link is dead??
Here is my aquamark score, must have deleted the old one when I was adding some new ones

if u have been using your comp for an extensive period of time (6+ months) and u disable indexing service thru the process manager, you WILL suffer from MASSIVE data corruption. it can be recovered, but only by plugging your hard drive into another comp with XP.
i keep indexing running on my drive, but disabled it on all physical drives. if the ricess itself is disabled, any currently indexed items will be corrupted.
only disable indexing if you installed windows XP recently (a week ago or earlier)

@adam - that reg code you gave me, I can just paste that in notepad, save as ***.reg and then run it, no risks right?
uhh ive always disabled indexing service right after an installation, and have been doing this for over 1 year....and no problems.....unless you mean on one xp installation, in which case it doesnt matter cause i never keep an installation for more then 2 months lolQuote:

he means if you leave your comp for 6 months or more and then disable indexing, then you can have "massive" data corruption, maybe...
