Urgent Help Needed - No Internet!!!

ok here's a more detailed picture.

my dad just came through and mentioned something about not enough lines in the extension to my room. apparently you need 4 lines for broadband whereas you only need 2 for a telephone line. does anyone know if this is true?

please help me i'm losing it :no:

edit: please also note i have 2 more filters that i just bought and have tried them between main line + kitchen, and kitchen > my bedroom. nothing works!

Remove all filters. Connect your PC and the internet should work.


Now the problem will be that you'll hear noise on the telephone(s). Now install filters between the line and your telephone(s) only. The filters remove the noise.

Don't put a filter between the line and the modem. You'll filter out the internet.
