unless the virus infected your BIOS (is that possible? )
then your virus scanner shouldnt have touched the settings
and even then, CAN a virus scanner fk with the BIOS?
either way, ignoring the errors isnt something i would do, not in the BIOS
i would try to see what can be done to fix the prob, but thats just me :P

Is there no software issue that could cause this? Did I not maybe reset settings or something while trying to get into safe mode I was pushing random F buttons?
Edit: I just went into Bios and in hardware monitoring:
CPU Temp: 52 Degrees Celcius
CPU Fan speed - N/A
Chasis Fan Speed - N/A
Power Fan Speed - 5400RPM
Cool n Quiet - Enabled
Q-Fan - Disabled
Try it with Cool n Quiet Disabled.

There are viruses that can screw with your BIOS, yes. Or at least there used to be, but they have never been very common.
The extremely paranoid can set their bios to write protected to avoid the chance of that happening, I guess
Re: URGENT! CPU Fan Error!
Well, This thing was called PruttCT... when killing the process in the task manager it would double and AVG always found it as Ei.exe, always said it was deleted, but it was always there... Eventually I deleted it manually from Local Users temp, Windows System 32 and Preftech...
I fucking hope that it didn't fuck with my bios.
